Take the Plunge

Bodysuits have been my go to lately when i want to stay warm but show some skin. Also a great transition piece to wear into spring and summer with high waisted shorts or skirts, and super cute with leather or bomber jackets. I'm lovin it!

Surviving these last few months of winter by layering up and finding stand out pieces that really pop. Dressing in winter is always a challenge for me, because all I want to do is be warm and comfy, aka wear sweats or pjs. To keep my outfits looking interesting and less boring, (a sweater and jacket), I go for pieces with lots of detail!

Here I went for textures: a pom pom beanie, cargo jacket with patches, zip detailed leather pants and fringe booties.

Side Note: I'm so ready for spring/summer, I already ordered new bathing suits! (Not mad about it);)

Basically Not Basic

I admit I do get a little more simple with my looks when it comes to winter. Honestly, I'm so cold half the time that i just want to be comfortable and warm. Winter for me is all about jackets. If you have a collection of statement jackets and coats like i do, you can take any basic outfit and make it not so basic. Accessories too! Its all in the details...a little fringe here, some studded shoes there...
