Chic School Girl

This look reminds me of a trendy school girl...the skater skirt and plaid jacket say it all!

I fell in love with the shape and colors in this jacket by Elizabeth and James. The moto style fit and bright colors were the perfect combo, and reminded me of a spin on a uniformed jacket. This faux leather, studded skirt I picked up from Zara last year, added some great edge and character.

For what I like to call a "chic effect", I paired this look with my knee high boots. These boots are definitely my go-to shoes for fall and winter, especially when I'm looking for that extra pep in my step. They look great with skirts, dress, with tights, even with my leather shorts (which I tend to wear during the holiday season..check instagram!)

Coincidence that I'm walking by a school in these pictures? hehe

Comfy Cozy

It's definitely time to bundle up here in New York! Along with layering up, I always mix and match different prints and colors so that winter doesn't look so dull. Although I love wearing black during this season, for a sleek look, I think color is key when wanting to look warm and comfortable when the temperature drops.

This Sanctuary coat has an easy fit, complete with a shawl collar and slouchy hood. It's comfy fleece lining, keeps me toasty warm!

Skulls + Plaid = the perfect casual mix of prints.

Gone With The Wind

Windy days call for fringe! Loving this jacket by Aqua, it adds the right amount of edge to this casual look. These J brands i like to call "fun pants" were an easy pick, when pairing them with a subtle denim shirt. My new favorite shoes (i hardly ever wear pumps), accents the entire look.

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Im still stuffed!

Fall Into Winter

Time to embrace this polar vortex that's happening this week. The temperature dropped to 40 degrees. BRRrrrrr! This sadly means that fall is coming to an end :(

Trying to stay warm and stylish at the same time can be quit the challenge, but I definitely look forward to layering up with faux fur, chunky scarves and statement gloves. Bring on the winer!

Loving these moto style, plaid print jeans from Rag and Bone! The print and multiple zippers are right up my alley. Plus, they have a great legging-type fit.

I decided to add some color and tone down the loud print of these bottoms, by adding a two tone bomber jacket and maroon fedora. To play up the rocker feel, I slipped on the sling back booties.

Leopard + Denim

Crazy fall we're having here in day it's 50 something degrees, the next it's 70! Not that I'm gives me a chance to break out the jackets and boots, and still be able to pair them skirts and shorts.

This leopard skirt, from Topshop has been my go-to for this's simple, has a print that works in this season, and goes great with just about everything.
